On the 8th anniversary of Commando, producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah gave Vidyut Jammwal fans a treat. The filmmaker has announced the fourth instalment of the popular series titled Commando 4. While Shah was quite mum about the casting and the storyline, he did assure fans that the makers would take the franchise to the next level. Keeping in mind the fantastic action films we’ve noticed ot late, we can be rest assured that the film will have a bomb storyline and great action sequences. Or at least, we hope.
“We are glad that we are talking about Commando 4 and taking the franchise to a new level,” the producer-director said, in a statement. Commando had starred Vidyut Jammwal, Jaideep Ahlawat and Pooja Chopra in the lead roles. Commando: A One Man Army released in 2013 and was a massive hit but the other movies in the franchise, while successful, didn’t match up to the success of the first film. All three films so far have starred Jammwal and it only seems natural that the fourth film will also feature him.
