The trailer of the second season of the much appreciated show, The Family Man hit the internet last week. Starring Manoj Bajpayee, Samantha Akkineni, Priyamani and more, the show is all set to narrate yet another interesting story about our family man cum undercover agent.
While the trailer had a good reception by the fans of the show, some people had objections with the content, following which, Rajya Sabha MP Vaiko wrote to the Information and Broadcasting Minister, Prakash Javadekar, seeking a ban on the series.
He elaborated that the problem arose with the depiction of Tamilians as terrorists and ISI agents having connections with Pakistan. He added that the sacrifices of the Tamil Eelam warriors are being wrongly portrayed as terrorist acts and this has hurt the sentiments of the community.
He raised a serious concern over the content and also said that there will be consequences for the government by the people of TN if no actions were taken against the show.
The Family Man series is directed by Raj and DK and the second instalment is to release on June 4.
