Hence, when a social media user criticised Priyanka for maintaining a silence over the Israel-Palestine conflict, Al Massri immediately came to her friend’s defence. "Baby almost 2 billion people in India are struggling with the deadliest event ever right now, the pandemic ! my friend is working to help her country... isn’t this enough proof of being a good human being ? Friendship is not a transaction (sic),” responded Al Massri. Priyanka has been constantly ensuring that the global community’s eyes remain on India during this period of crisis as the country battles the second wave of COVID-19.
