Amidst the pandemic’s second wave in our country our actors turned out to be real heroes in real life too. Several actors nationwide helped people to spread right information about the beds, injections and hospital numbers. Some even stepped out to help with money to people struggling financially in these tough times and raise funds.
Today we hear another sweet story of a superstar trying his best to help the masses. According to a report on an online portal, it is reported that South superstar Suriya donated Rs 12.5 lakhs to one of his fan clubs. The actor got in touch with the head of one of his fan clubs and asked him to figure out the members who are struggling financially. Soon Suriya donated Rs 5000 to almost 250 members of the fanclub and deposited the money directly to their accounts. Now isn’t that one golden move of an actor to help his fans! Hats off to Suriya and his great gesture.
Meanwhile at the work front, Suriya has several projects to complete in the coming months. He's doing director Pandiraj’s next and then he has Kootathil Oruthan by TJ Gnanavel, which has been wrapped up in portions. Suriya even has Gautham Menon’s anthology Navarasa and it's said by the end of this year or early next year he will start shooting for Vaadi Vasal by Vetrimaaran.
