The report also states that the producer had been practising as a clinical psychologist at a prominent Bandra hospital since 2016. A 51-year-old social worker supposedly released a sealed envelope with a set of documents pertaining to Patker's PHd degree from an anonymous source and the producer was arrested once an FIR was filed. The PhD certificate which Patker claims to have obtained from a university in Kanpur was fake. Patker is best known for producing Balkadu in 2015 which is based on the philosophical leanings of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray.
