We never rehearsed but only shared our past life experiences and from there we formed some sort of a connection that we tried to bring to the film. Cinema I believe is all about finding ways to show our hidden sides, our vulnerabilities. I think Pankaj Tripathi is a master at that. His ability to hide himself behind a character in seconds is simply mind boggling," Basu had told a leading daily regarding his experience working with Tripathi. The filmmaker's last project was also a short film called Meal which featured actors like Adil Hussain, Ratnabali Bhattacharjee and Arun Mukhopadhyay.
