Post the success of Arjun Reddy (2018), South actor Vijay Deverakonda became a nationwide phenomenon. The actor’s sexy and rugged avatar has made him the most desirable and he’s soon to make his Hindi debut with his pan India film Liger. Liger’s first poster was released long back but obviously due to the pandemic, the film has not been released yet. No wonder there were rumours of the movie going direct-to-digital route and with exorbitant rate offered to the makers.

Rumour had it that Liger was being sold to an OTT platform and also the satellite rights for languages for approximately Rs 200 crores. Now that’s a big amount for a film. While people were still guessing about the truth behind this story, Vijay took to Twitter and rubbished these rumours in quite the hatke way. He posted the picture and said, “Too little. I’ll do more in the theatres.” Now it looks like the actor is super-confident about the movie and is sure that once normalcy returns, the film will surely bring a storm at the box-office.
Very few films have made it to the Rs 200 crore club, but Devarakonda is sure that he can make a spot for himself in the esteemed club and join the likes of Prabhas, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan. Liger also stars Ananya Panday and the film is said to be high on action and some amazing stunts. With the lead actor promising us so much confidence in the film and the first poster looking so intense, our expectations have surely multiplied 200 times now. Let the show begin!
