We are not against 5G - Juhi Chawla says in her first statement after 5G case

In her first statement after the Delhi High Court dismissed her lawsuit against the implementation of 5G in the country, actor Juhi Chawla says that she is not against 5G. In a video shared on Twitter, Chawla says that there was so much noise post the hearing that her main issue with 5G was not understood. The actress says that she is not against 5G and only wants the government to certify via their studies that it is safe for children, pregnant women, old and infirm people and the flora and fauna. "That is all," she said emphatically, ending the video.

The Delhi High Court had dismissed Chawla's case on the 4th of June and had also said that “it appears that the suit was filed for publicity”. The bench further went on to impose a fine of Rs 20 lakh on the plaintiffs i.e. Chawla and two other petitioners. "It appears that the suit was filed for publicity. Plaintiff Juhi Chawla circulated a link of the hearing on social media which created the disruption thrice. The Delhi Police shall identify the persons and take action against those who created the disruptions," the court had said in its order. Chawla has been creating awareness about the adverse effects of Radio Frequency (RF) and has claimed that the 5G technology exposes humans and animals to an RF radiation which is 10 to 100 times greater than the one that exists today.
