Actor Yami Gautam tied the knot with filmmaker Aditya Dhar in an intimate ceremony last week. The news came as a bit of a surprise to everyone, who had no idea that such a wedding was being planned. According to our sources, even those close to Dhar only came to know of the wedding once the couple shared their first wedding picture on social media. Gautam had worked with Dhar in his blockbuster movie, Uri: The Surgical Strike in 2019. While Dhar did look dishy in an ivory sherwani which he donned for the wedding, it was Gautam who was praised for her simple yet elegant look. Reportedly, the actress chose to wear her grandmother's saree and family jewellery. “With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family," the couple had shared on Instagram earlier. Since then, Gautam has been sharing some lovely images from the wedding which have all gone viral. On the work front, the actress will be seen next in Bhoot Police, Behzad Khambata’s directorial A Thursday, Maddock Films’ Dasvi and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s Lapata. Dhar, on the other hand, is working on his ambitious project The Immortal Ashwatthama which will star Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles.
