Alia Bhatt Sonakshi Sinha Bhumi Pednekar express outrage over multiple crimes against women

Earlier today, noted journalist Faye D’Souza shared an Instagram post regarding multiple instances of crimes against women. “Today’s papers have a list of heinous crimes against Indian women. How much longer can we look away! Women’s rights are human rights. Enough is enough,” she wrote. In the carousel post on Instagram, Faye detailed a rape in Mumbai, a death caused by alleged rape against a national level athlete in Uttar Pradesh and an instance of gang rape and murder in Chattisgarh.
Many Bollywood celebrities, notably women, took to the comments section to voice at their outrage against these despicable crimes. Kalki Koechlin, Malaika Arora and Mini Mathur shared their views in the comments section with Kalki asking if there is a way to make the accused the headline of such crimes and Mini Mathur stating that these criminals should be named.

This is infuriating,” wrote Alia Bhatt while Sonakshi Sinha shared that this continues to happen because our blood doesn’t boil as much as it is supposed to. “Looks like the real crime is being a woman in this country,” she wrote.
