As the Maharashtra Government announced the reopening of movie theatres from October 22, Bollywood is buzzing with new release dates for films that have been waiting for the big day. After Sooryavanshi, ’83 and Laal Singh Chaddha, Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey also has a new release date.
Shahid Kapoor took to social media to share that the film will be releasing on New Years Eve, ie, December 31. The film is the official remake of Telugu film of the same name and shows Shahid as a 36 years old cricketer who gave up on the game but wants to get back to it after a long break.
The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur and is directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri.
