Due to the pandemic Shahid Kapoor’s last offering has remained to be Kabir Singh which released in 2019. Post that he completed the shoot for his debut OTT outing and another South remake – Jersey.
Last night, the makers of the Jersey held a special screening for the team. The screening was exclusive only for director Gowtam Tinnanuri and producer Aman Gill and their leading star Shahid Kapoor. The actor was seen with his mother Neelima Azeem in tow. Shahid made sure he posed for the cameras with his mom and the duo were all smiles.
Jersey will hit the screens on December 31, 2021. Shahid Kapoor plays the role of a cricket coach and the film is said to be high on drama and traces the coach’s journey.
