A doppelganger of late Sridevi was discovered on social media by the actor’s fans. The lookalike is Dipali Choudhary, who is an actor from Haryana and has over 33k followers on Instagram. She has shared several video clips of her dancing to Sridevi’s songs and lip-syncing to dialogues from the late actor’s movies.
In one of the clips, Dipali acted out one of the famous scenes of Sridevi’s Laadla. Among other clips, she also lip-synced to lines from Sadma (1983), Nagina (1986), Judaai (1997), etc. She also shared clips of her dancing to several songs from Sridevi’s movies including Tere Mere Hothon Pe from Chandni (1989).
Several fans commented on Dipali’s posts and praised her for her ability to imitate Sridevi. One fan wrote, "Kudrat ka karishma,” while another said “Sridevi ki copy lag rahe ho aap''. Another person commented, “Same to same Sridevi ma'am jaise lagte ho aap”
