Samantha Akkineni’s pan-India appeal just went a notch higher this year with the success of The Family Man Season 2. The actress who has done several films in Tamil and Telugu cinema, delved into web space this year and her debut has skyrocketed the numbers on digital world. Today in an interview on E-Times, the actress says that with a pan-India appeal comes bigger responsibility.
Samantha Akkineni has completed 11 years in the industry, she’s the top actress down South and she continues to reign in the industry. Ask her what are the differences she sees in herself today compared to when she started off and the actress candidly says that she has been very hardworking but also insecure. “I have had a lot of self-doubts. But over the years, that has changed. I have learnt to deal with my insecurities, learnt to take bigger risks. Today, I’m confident, face my fears and insecurities head-on, and take bigger risks — these are the three biggest changes that I notice in me now.” The only way to win over your insecurities is to face them head on and the actress seems to be practicing it.
Samantha Akkineni will now soon start shooting for her upcoming films.The actress will resume shooting for Shaakuntalam – a period love story by Gunasekhar. And then she even has a love triangle romance titled Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Can’t wait to see more of this talented actress.
