Tara Sutaria is busy promoting her upcoming action-drama, Tadap with debutant Ahan Shetty. The film is a love story and the trailer has really got the audiences intrigued about what these young actors have in store for them.
In an exclusive chat with Filmfare, Tara recalled the time she visited Sajid Nadiadwala and Milan Luthria to talk about a different film and they asked her to enact a scene from The Dirty Picture with Ahan just for fun. “I was shooting for a brand in Chennai and I got a call. I think Sajid sir wanted to meet with me for another film and I went to the office and met Milan Sir and Ahan for the first time. There was a scene from The Dirty Picture, which is Milan Sir’s film that I love a lot. He sort of just asked me to read through it and he had a camera and everything that day. I was kind of unaware but he asked me to do the scene with Ahan and we literally very casually just acted it out and it felt very good, like it felt completely right and Sajid sir saw that. Both Milan sir and Sajid Sir actually said that they are making a RX100 remake. At that time, they didn’t say the name and I had heard so much about the film and I watched the film a couple of times and I love the intensity of the story. So that’s how it just happened and I said yes immediately and we started workshopping and then we just started shooting the film.”
