Ayushmann Khurranas upcoming film An Action Hero to release in December

This week marked the tenth anniversary of Ayushmann Khurrana's debut film, Vicky Donor, in the Indian film industry. The actor has been working on a number of projects, one of which is An Action Hero, which is set to be released soon. The film is supported by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Aanand L Rai's Colour Yellow Productions.

The film's announcement came a while ago, and filming began in 2021. The filmmakers have set a release date for the film, which is currently in post-production. Ayushmann took to Instagram on Friday to announce the release date, along with a new poster. Ayushmann posted, “Stay in the blur till 2nd of December 2022.”

When asked about An Action Hero, which will be released in theatres this year, producer Aanand L Rai stated,“Colour yellow is always excited to bring newer stories to its audience. Happy to have two of my favourite actors Ayushman and Jaideep in this thrilling journey of An Action Hero".

Bhushan Kumar, the film's producer, stated about the film's release date, “The entire An Action Hero team has put in a lot of hard work into making this happen. We have achieved quite a lot in such a short span of time and we are waiting to watch the final product on screen just as much as everyone else! See you in cinemas on December 2!”

An Action Hero, with its slick action and offbeat, satirical sense of humour, is set to hit theatres on December 2. The film began production in January 2022, with the London schedule generating a lot of buzz on the internet. Jaideep Ahlawat recently completed filming for the film, and even as the film prepares for post-production, the countdown to December 2 has already begun.
