Nushrratt Bharuccha has slowly yet steadily placed her feet in the industry. Starting off from Pyaar Ka Punchnama, the actress has come a long way and that could be seen in her performance in her latest release Ajeeb Daastaans. The actress impressed one and all with her act in the digitally released movie directed by Raj Mehta. Nushrratt is now all set to be seen in several big projects like Ram Setu, Chhorii, Hurdang and more.
Out of these, ask Nushrratt which project she is the most pumped up about and the actress quickly quips, “Chhorii. And when you’ll see it, you’ll know what I mean. It was that one of those days on set of Chhorii, I was so overwhelmed by the scene and the emotion and it was so tough for me to carry the emotion for a prolong number of days because I am 8 months pregnant in the film so there’s a whole layer of those emotions which could be various hormonal imbalances which I have not faced so I don’t know what they are, but I am still trying to get those and trying to understand them… I don’t know how to explain it but that’s what I like about being in this field that you can use so many ways to tell your story to create that impact and to kind of hit people in the gut if it needs to be hit or to make them smile or to make them laugh but make them understand what you are trying to say. That’s what Chhorii is for me and it’s a big one.”
She added, “I was just telling somebody before this that I don’t think I am going to do interviews before Chhorii’s release. Because I will be under a blanket or digging a hole and hiding out of fear and anxiety. I am like I can’t do any promotions before, let's do them after the film releases. It’s like aar yaan paar.”
Directed by Vishal Furia, Chhorii is the Hindi remake of a Marathi film, which was helmed by the same director. The film has already been shot in Bhopal and is set to release this year.
