The ND Studio on the outskirts of Mumbai caught fire this evening. The cause of the fire is unknown, however soon it spread throughout the studio. It started from the area where 2008’s release Jodhaa Akhbar’s sets were present. The sets of the iconic film were kept intact for the tourists to come and take a look at it. However, now it has been damaged completely. ND Studio is owned by popular production designer Nitin Chandrakant Desai.
Jodhaa Akhbar starred Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in key roles, it was known for its opulent sets among other things. Soon, help was sent to Karjat, where the studios are to douse the fire. The good news is that there were no casualties in the fire outbreak.
