He told ETimes in an interview that Sushant used to ask many questions during the narrations. His questions were not just about his own character but also about other roles, so that he could understand his character’s world. Nitesh Tiwari adds that this kind of curiosity was a sign of a good actor. The filmmaker even revealed that Sushant Singh made him take a personality test twice for his role – one for the younger character of his, and the second test for the character’s older self. The director also adds that Sushant never used glycerine in emotional scenes. “I would ask him, ‘How are you managing to get tears?’ and he would say, ‘Yeh mera secret hai sir’. He did not tell me his secret but he came prepared and he had so many crying scenes with both the younger and older Ani and not even once in those shots did he use glycerine.” A man who made his directors happy with his roles and entertained audiences is missed immensely today. Sushant Singh Rajput you have left a large void behind.
