The pandemic has taken the livelihood of many people and this has left several families without a source of income or even an opportunity to fulfil the basic needs of their family. Extending a helping hand for daily wagers and frontline workers who struggle in their times, many celebrities have come forward to distribute food kits or dry rations for them. Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and many more have contributed to this cause and helped people with daily supplies. Joining them in the good deed, Pooja Hegde has organised ration kits of 100 families in the city. A picture of the actor surfaced on the internet where she can be seen sitting with the packed ration all ready to roll out to the families that need them.
Pooja is also using her social media to spread awareness about COVID-19. She herself recovered from the virus last month and has conducted several Yoga sessions with experts to help people with breathing post-COVID.
On the work front, Pooja has a lot in her kitty. Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali with Salman Khan, Cirkus with Ranveer Singh, Radhe Shyam with Prabhas and Vijay Thalapathy’s 65th film are all in the pipeline for Pooja.
