On June 6, Dilip Kumar was rushed to a hospital after he complained of breathlessness. His manager Faisal Farooqui even took to Twitter to update his fans about the same and said, ''Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for routine tests and investigations. He’s had episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him. Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe.'' While the team keeps updating us about the veteran actor’s health, fans and his well wishers keep praying for his speedy recovery.
Yesterday, Shatrughan Sinha shared his concern for Dilip Kumar and took to Twitter to talk about it. In his tweet, Mr Sinha not just prayed for his speedy recovery but also shared some throwback pictures where Dilip Saab was at his jovial best and posed with Shatrughan Sinha and his peers. In pictures we see Dilip Saab and Shatrughan Sinha in a candid conversation with Dharmendra, in another one we see them posing with Salman Khan and Aamir Khan and yet in another we see him with Vinod Khanna at a party.
Shatrughan Sinha’s tweet reads, “Healing prayers & best wishes to the 'bestest' thespian, living legend #DilipKumar. Wishing a speedy recovery, good health & a very long life ahead. Profound regards to the lady of substance, elegant #SairaBanu & family.” Now that’s really sweet.
Recently Dilip Kumar’s doctor Dr Parkar had informed ETimes that, “He (Dilip Kumar) underwent a procedure today. 350 ml fluid was removed from his left lung. His oxygen saturation levels are 100 percent and he may be discharged in the next 3 days.” Here’s wishing the veteran and living legend a speedy recovery.
