The news of casting director Seher Aly Latif passing away came as a shock to the Bollywood community. The casting director had worked on the internationally acclaimed film The Lunchbox and took her last breath yesterday due to renal failure. Seher Aly Latif’s passing shocked people she worked with. Everyone felt heartbroken with the fact she left us so soon. Huma Qureshi, Rajkummar Rao, Nimrat Kaur and many more expressed their grief on social media.
Huma Qureshi posted a cute click of Seher on her IG story and said, ‘I cannot believe you are gone.’ She inserted several heart-break emoticons expressing her shock and grief at the same time.
Nimrat Kaur who became a known name thanks to The Lunchbox, shared a lovely post about Seher and expressed how this troubling news has shaken her. She tweeted saying, "One of the kindest, most loving people Mumbai gifted my life with. Still trying to process this unreal news…. Travel on into the light my dearest, sweetest Seher. The unpredictable, ghastly shortness of life remains baffling… Await to meet you on the other side."
The Lunchbox director Ritesh Batra quote tweeted her and said, “I don’t believe it, unfair parting with a kind soul and real friend. Goodbye Seher, I hope there is another side."
