Student of the Year 2 completes four years of its release. It is a sequel to the 2012 movie Student of the Year, starring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra in their debut.SOTY 2 features Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria, Ananya Panday and Aditya Seal in the lead roles. The film marks as Tara and Ananya’s Bollywood debut. It is directed by Punit Malhotra.
The plot centres around Rohan (Tiger Shroff), who aims to win the Student of the Year award and gain admission to the prestigious St. Teresa's College. However, he quickly finds himself embroiled in a love triangle with the two most popular females in college, Mia (Tara Sutaria) and Shreya (Ananya Panday). As the competition heats up and conflicts grow, Rohan must manoeuvre his way through the hardships of academic life and find a way to triumph.
