Ever since the first wave of the novel coronavirus gripped India, actor Sonu Sood has been at the forefront and helped out numerous individuals in whatever way he can. Providing life-saving medicine, supplies and amplifying information, Sonu Sood has said that helping people out during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic is "more satisfying" than starring in a ₹100 crore film.
“In the middle of night,after making numerous calls if you are able to get beds for the needy, oxygen for some people and save a few lives, I swear..it's a million times more satisfying than being a part of any 100cr film. We can't sleep when people are in front of hospitals waiting for a bed,” Sonu wrote on Twitter. “Can't sleep.. In the middle of night when my phone rings, all I can hear is a desperate voice pleading to save his/her loved ones. We are living in tough times but tomorrow is going to be better, just hold your reins tight. Together we will win. Just we need some more hands,” the actor tweeted last week. Sood is himself just recovering for the COVID-19 virus.
